Ann Peterson Truemper, born and raised in Wichita Falls, Texas, and now residing in Grand Rapids, Michigan, graduated in 1997 with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Coe College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.  As a non-traditional student in her forties, she found her interest in art and took classes in painting, printmaking, photography, drawing, collage, and sculpture.  She found her passion for clay in her first ceramics class.
